Kitchen Remodel in NE Portland

N.E. Portland is the part of Portland that we live in and we are happy to show this Kitchen Remodeling project is for one of your neighbors in NE Portland. The project itself was built out with a few custom requests for the homeowner who always is exploring cooking. Beginning with the pull out spice rack that keeps loads of spices at an easy counter top reach. As the drawer pulls out full extension the items are easily visible. With just two interior shelves the racks do not get over crowed since there is space around to see what is available. The cabinet next to it is a thin storage space for cutting boards and sheet pans.

When it comes time to design and build a new kitchen there are a lot of practical things to consider so that it will be a room that that works for everyone and everything. At Green Light Construction we work to design and build what will be functional, lasting and fitting to your style. For this project we included pull out drawers in the lower cabinets that are a back saver. There is no need to crawl around in cabinets to find pots and pans. With a stack of three drawers, silverware and utensils are in the top drawer, often used pans in the middle drawer and bowls or other pan are easy to get to with the full extension drawers. This long tall galley kitchen goes to the ceiling with storage for cook books or occasionally used pans. The ample counter space is great for prep work or area for an assistant chief. The porcelain tile floor is easy to sweep.

The counter top is a 3cm thick quartz composite material. Its non-porous, which means lemon, wine, and oils will not affect it. The led under cabinet lights make reading recipes of cook books easy, with dimmers they can be set for late night snack making.
