What should I expect when I schedule a consultation?
We visit your location and spend about a half an hour looking at and talking about the project initially.
When can I get a consultation?
It depends on the scale of the project and how much investigation is involved. Anywhere from the next day to one week is typical. If the project involves design we will ask for a design agreement before these professional services begin. We will produce a fixed price contract for the project described.
Who will do the work? Will it be sub-contracted?
We do the work with our own employees. We use select specialty contractors to do specific parts of the project such as the electrical and plumbing work. We are fortunate to have good relations with these specialists that we work with regularly. For example we have worked with the same plumbing company since 2005. While we are on the look out for new talented contractors. We value the trust that we have built with these companies. We do not sub-contract out the whole project as some larger companies do.
What are your working hours?
When we start work we isolate the work area and set up for dust control and lead safe work practices. Generally work from 8:30 am – 5pm. We are usually able to accommodate your schedule for specific requirements.
How can I talk to you about the project?
Nothing is more frustrating than not being able to get the information you need to make decisions. Communication is important to us. Our policy is to return phone calls the same day, and e-mails within 12 hours.
Do you stand behind your work?
Once the project is completed, we will stand behind the project. We will contact you after 6 months and 12 months for quality assurance follow-up. We also prepare a file of all manuals and care of information.
